“Why can’t I stop worrying?”

“I feel crazy.”

Motherhood can be deeply meaningful and incredibly heavy. If you’re feeling depressed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, short-tempered, disconnected from yourself, or overwhelmed by the invisible mental load, you’re not alone.

Whether you're a new mom wondering why this season feels nothing like you expected, or a mom further down the road who's running on empty, Mère is here for exactly where you are right now.

Our virtual therapy is designed specifically for mothers. We offer a safe, judgment-free space where what you're feeling is honored, not minimized, not rushed, and never dismissed. Our therapists hold the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International. The PMH certification not only prepares therapists to care for women in the perinatal (pregnancy & postpartum) period, but prepares therapists in the art of mothering a mother through all chapters of a maternal journey.

Because mothers deserve to be mothered too.

Becca Hamilton

LPC, PMH-C

“I feel called to care for women in these chapters because I am one.  I experience both weakness and inadequacy, as well as deep gratitude and joy, every day in this season of motherhood. I know how overwhelming and disorienting it can feel at times. It is a privilege to hold space for women who feel helpless, defeated, full of grief, or unsure if they will ever feel peace, belonging, or joy again. I offer a place of safety and compassion where those feelings are honored, not fixed, and where true hope and healing begin.”

Surprisingly, I am an extroverted-introvert; I love meaningful conversation and connection, but I refuel through solitude.  Time outside, especially walking and running, and diving into a new book (usually whatever my “Good Books Book Club” has selected next) are essential rhythms that help me stay grounded, curious, and present in my own life and in my work.

My greatest hope is that clients leave each session feeling hopeful, loved, and empowered in their journey. I deeply desire for my clients to understand that the emotional and physical challenges they face during infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or the broader maternal period are worthy of attention and care. By showing up and sharing their story, they are actively engaging in their healing process and taking courageous steps toward their own health and their family's well-being.

“If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the weight of anxieties, fears, intrusive thoughts, or difficult emotions, I want you to know that you’re not alone and you’re not broken. By entering into your life and story with curiosity and compassion, I hope to help you feel seen, heard, and ready to face the highs and lows of life with confidence, clarity, and self-trust.”

I am a licensed clinical social worker focused on coming alongside women throughout all stages of motherhood. With a background in social work, I understand the complexities of how our lived experiences and the world around us shapes us, and how that specifically weighs on moms, who spend so much time and energy trying to make things “work.”

With specialized training in perinatal mental health, anxiety disorders, and OCD, I work with clients to not only reduce anxiety, but also transform the way they relate to it, growing in my clients a sense of confidence and self-trust. I also believe in the importance of psychoeducation for clients to feel both understood and empowered.

Areas of Focus: Perinatal Mental Health, Motherhood, Anxiety, OCD (ERP), Grief / Loss, Identity & Role Shifts
